Teeing off for a good cause: A look back at our annual golf day

At progressive, we’re serious about giving back to our community. That’s why, for the past nine years, we’ve been hosting an annual golf day to raise money for charity. And we’re proud to say that over the course of eight events, we’ve raised over £70k for several great causes.

But, don’t let the charitable aspect fool you – our golf day is also a great time. Held in July at Woodbury Park near Exeter, the day is filled with boozy fun and plenty of friendly competition. We invite our suppliers, main contractors, and engineers/architects to come and join us for a round of golf that’s unlike any other.

One of the things that sets our golf day apart is the many drinking holes that are scattered throughout the course. As you play your way around, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to stop and quench your thirst with a cold beverage. Of course, this can make for some interesting shots later in the day – but that’s all part of the fun!

And, speaking of fun, there are plenty of prizes to be won too. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, you’ll have a chance to win some great swag. From golf balls to branded hats, to gift cards, there’s something for everyone.

But, most importantly, our annual golf day is all about coming together to support a good cause. We’re proud to have been able to give back to our community in such a meaningful way over the years, and we’re already looking forward to this year’s event.
