progressive is now sponsor of the St James Road stand at Exeter City Football Club, for the next two seasons.
If you’ve been down to St James Park, you’ll have seen our branding up around the ground, and we think it’s fair to say it looks right at home alongside the club’s colours.
Why Exeter City?
Exeter City has always been a club built on community. It’s fan-owned, deeply rooted in the city, and has a reputation for doing things the right way, on and off the pitch. That’s exactly the kind of organisation progressive wants to be associated with.
We’ve been based in Exeter since 1988, and over the years we’ve worked on many of the buildings that shape this city, from Sandy Park and the GWR offices to Exeter College, the University, Amazon and DPD. As the south west’s leading roofing and cladding contractor, we’ve built our name on being straightforward, reliable and genuinely part of the communities we work in. Partnering with a club that shares those same values just makes sense.
What this means
Our branding will now be visible around the St James Road stand, giving us a presence at Exeter City’s home fixtures throughout the season. It’s a natural extension of the work we already do to support the south west, from charity projects and school partnerships to our apprenticeship scheme for the next generation of roofers and cladders.
Director Andy Smith said: “Sport teaches teamwork, discipline and leadership, the same qualities we look for when we bring people into the business. Through our apprenticeships, T Levels and NVQs, we’re investing in the next generation of site and office-based construction talent, and being visible at the Club is a real chance to reach the parents and young people we want to hear from.”
