Ty Darran, Risca, Wales

Ty Darran in Risca, Wales is a later living development delivering 45 one-bedroom apartments for residents aged 60 and over. 

Completed in February 2026, the scheme brings together modern design with a strong focus on energy efficiency, helping to reduce carbon emissions and keep running costs down for residents. 

The original Ty Darran care home closed over a decade ago and was demolished in 2023, making way for the new development which started the following year. 

Working on behalf of Caerphilly Homes and Willmott Dixon, we were appointed to deliver the single ply and felt roofing systems.
