The Women of progressive

Last week marked two important moments in the calendar. Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day. Both are an opportunity to recognise the role women play across the construction industry and to highlight the progress that continues to be made.

At progressive, we are proud to recognise the women in our team who play an important role in keeping the business moving forward every day. Their contribution helps shape the standards, culture and professionalism that define who we are as a company.

Our team includes:

  • Megan, our Receptionist and HR Administrator, who is often the first point of contact for clients, partners and visitors. Megan plays a key role in keeping the office organised and supporting our people.
  • Natalia, our Apprentice and Social Value Manager, who oversees our apprenticeship programmes while supporting our social value commitments and community engagement.
  • Jess, our Accounts Assistant, who supports the financial side of the business and helps ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Holly, our Contracts Administrator, who works closely with our delivery teams to keep projects organised and running efficiently.
  • Jane, our Purchase Ledger Clerk, who manages supplier accounts and helps maintain the strong relationships we have built across our supply chain.
  • Lexie, our Site Management T Level student, who is gaining valuable on-site experience as she begins her journey into the construction industry.
  • Karlie, our Roofing and Cladding Apprentice, who is building hands on skills within our trade and represents the next generation of talent entering the industry.

Each of these women plays an important role within progressive. Their work supports the wider team, strengthens our culture and helps ensure we continue delivering for our clients across the South West and beyond.

Construction continues to evolve and the industry is opening more doors than ever before. At progressive, we are committed to supporting opportunity, development and progression for everyone. Talent, commitment and attitude are what matter most, and we are proud to see the next generation of people building their careers within our business.

Recognising weeks like Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day is important, but supporting people and creating opportunity is something that should happen every day. Thank you for everything you do ❤️
