We’re proud and excited to be offering the south-west’s first roofing & cladding apprenticeship scheme to school leavers across the region. But why should you be excited about it too?

What is an apprenticeship?
Put simply, an apprenticeship is a paid work opportunity available to anyone leaving school after their GCSEs. As an apprentice, you’ll gain on-the-job experience and build a range of professional qualifications. You’ll also get the chance to develop essential industry-specific skills that will increase your earning potential and open-up bigger and better opportunities in the future.
Your time will be split between practical, paid work experience and focused learning delivered by industry experts. You can apply for apprenticeships in a huge variety of industries, but we’ve gone out of our way to make our scheme as attractive and rewarding as possible. Why roofing & cladding?
The construction industry in general is one of the UK’s biggest, valued at nearly £450 billion in 2021. The top jobs in the industry carry big salaries, but even entry level jobs pay above minimum wage once you’re fully qualified.
Roofing and cladding are a key part of this industry. A roofing and cladding career provides opportunities to work on exciting projects and learn a lot of specialist skills. Whilst it might seem simple at first, ensuring that buildings are protected is a complex and challenging job. We’re no strangers to technology – our industry is evolving just like any other, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn and put your knowledge into practice on every project.
You can go far with us. Most of our directors have been with us for many years, starting out as buyers, operatives, or technicians, and working their way up. We’re progressive by name and progressive by nature!
