Since first investing in progressive in September 1991, Roger Fox, (Foxy), has held the post of ‘Technical Director’ – for thirty two years! This followed seventeen years in the structural steelwork industry, starting a lengthy training as a Detail Draughtsman, leading to Chief Draughtsman and ultimately, Designer roles.

He’s a strong advocate that a well-trained, proactive, customer-orientated in-house design team will always prove an asset to the company in developing strong business relationships, with both our client base and supply chain partners. Leading to a higher level of business confidence and ultimately, repeat work.

Now in the twilight of his career, Roger maintains his professional qualifications within the Institute of Roofing, the Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers. Roger actively contributes to both regional and national committees of the NFRC, the UK’s largest roofing trade association, whilst positively supporting the new progressive team in any way possible.

Away from work, and for anyone suffering from lack of sleep or insomnia, just ask him about his boat, or the river Thames and he’ll render you semi-conscious before you know it!
